Dance & Gen Ed
Integrate dance with general education subjects to create a multidisciplinary learning experience. Students will solve problems, tell stories, and explore concepts through movement.
- Reinforce general education topics using creative movement and choreography.
- Develop critical thinking and collaboration skills through interactive dance-based projects.
Dance & Mental Health & Wellness
Explore the role of dance in promoting mental health and emotional well-being. Students will practice mindfulness, stress relief techniques, and expressive movement to foster self-awareness and resilience.
- Understand how dance can be a tool for stress management and emotional expression.
- Develop personalized movement routines to support mental and emotional health.
Dance Technique and Terminology
Master foundational dance techniques and terminology across various styles. Students will focus on alignment, movement precision, and building a strong technical foundation.
- Learn and apply key dance terms and movements in styles like ballet, jazz, and hip hop.
- Develop discipline and technical skills to enhance overall performance.
Choreography & Team Building
Learn the art of choreography while building teamwork and communication skills. Students will create collaborative routines, exploring leadership and creative problem-solving.
